Chapter 6: Hell Hole Swamp... We Are So In It (In it to Win it)

45 miles to our first base camp outside the Jamestown, SC fire station! Not a bad first day (except for the freezing weather, gnarly head wind, and the fact that we have yet to find any fruit or veggies in the stores we've passed).

We met a beautiful little pup named Sadie roaming the streets just outside of Bethera, SC. She somehow escaped from her home and after returning her to her owner I decided to name my bike in her honor:)

Before we left we cleaned up our site only leaving behind our poop. Now hopefully we will find an oasis in this fruit desert!
